I dunno what happened out there, I'm going to watch the replay of the start of the race, chances are my guy just got caught up in the middle of the pack and it hurt him for the rest of the race... sad as I could have taken 3-4 today

Well I managed to do a little damage control with a 2nd and 4th place finish.  My home PC is having major virus problems, so I am using the lap top that does not have the right java to watch the replays.  All I know is the first 34 laps were a battle between the 2nd through 4th places. 

Lapped traffic wasnt a major factor but there were still slowing every one down so that was at least fare.  I do need to repair the home PC to see if I was closing the gap between myself and Team Atch or was that due to lapped traffic.

Either way this is going to be a good season since Team Atch managers sent me a PM this evening letting me know he is not using TRC parts just new parts that he was saving.

ever since rev says it maybe trc parts on atch's cars i always suspected the opposite. if it's true atch is not using trc's then that takes the buscuit. and at least now a 3 way fight is going on in the american area, i only wished the same on the british front.

Since I took a 2nd and 4th place finish I'm sitting on about 800K, but I do have a few parts that will be going for sale in the near future so that should fuel my engineers OT.

ok half way into the race, i have just connected up a few laps back, both my cars hold 5-6, i am concerned about arthursen's fuel load though.

back to that murderous mood with the ai scripts again now that i know arthursen will make the finish.

thats odd the living 2d viewer has frozen just before all the cars crossed the line but anyway its finished.

Very satisfying result with escalona finishing 3rd and 7th and skeates pinching 4th in the closing stages.

Gives me a 12 point cushion in the constructors going into next week.

Sigh. Turns out my setup was only stable with upto about 75 litres of fuel. So I quickly lost ground after the start and each refueling. Set the fastest laps and even had a late overtaking to move from 4th to 3rd but very disappointing. It's the first time that's happened to me and it would be when I had the best chance of a win yet.

Must remember to test my strategy with a full fuel load. From the looks of it, it's what Barba does. It would explain why he's slow in testing then speeds up for qualifying.

the others sandbag their pace, but it also gives them the chance to run their fuel loads high. i on the other hand don't run high fuel loads in practice sessions unless the track is a really bad one to setup on. but still your learn still, thats better then a win at this point as there will be other chances if you don't get far this season in 3.1
